I really do love to paint
and enjoy working in
my studio and plein air.
I will tell in the caption if
it is plein air.  My bio is
written on the last page.
As a retired art teacher, I have dedicated my life to the arts in
general and painting in particular.  Originally I was a
watercolorist but switched to oils when I retired.  Now I have
mostly used oils ever since, and love the way oils can be used to
display light.  
My goals in life are 1: to become a better painter in both technique
and spirit. 2: To show the beauty of the world around us and 3: to
one day be able to call myself an "artist".
